Middle Limit Hold’em Poker, Written by Bob Ciaffone and Jim Brier

I know from own experience that there is a lot of money to be made in middle limit Holdem games. This book is a guide to this special form of playing. And I think it’s pretty good – with the help of practical examples the writers thoroughly goes through every conceivable part of middle limit Holdem play. There are many difficult decisions a player has to make in games at this
level.

Ciaffone and Brier delivers many good tips and effective strategic advice that really will be useful to the intermediate player. The book is well written and the concepts presented are easy to learn and I think they will work well in real games. However, a respectable amount of poker knowledge is required if you want to make the most of the specific and detailed content in this book. Beginners should perhaps look elsewhere.

Bob Ciaffone is a top class poker player with a third place finish in world championship play as his finest accomplishment. He also works as a poker teacher and columnist. Jim Brier is also a professional poker player and columnist.
